Our Process
Our team of design professionals, combined with skilled installers and a group of outstanding suppliers have the knowledge and resources needed to take your project from concept through installation. Here is how we do that:
Initial Design Consultation
Call us to schedule your complementary design consultation here at our beautiful showroom in York, ME. This is your opportunity to share your vision of the project with us. We dedicate one-on-one time with you to fully understand your desires and needs for the space. We walk through your project to build a design concept and understand the scope of work and begin to craft your custom design portfolio. We also guide you through initial product selections that best fit your project. When you are ready to move forward after the initial meeting, we’ll collect a signed design agreement, retainer fee & proceed to the In-Home Design Visit.
In-Home Design Visit
This is the time for our team to assess the project site in person. Our designer will view the space, take measurements and further discuss the initial design concepts, addressing any physical needs of the space. If the project is for new construction the work is generally done from architectural drawings.
Project Proposal Meeting
Our team combines the initial design portfolio with the in-home design visit to build a detailed and comprehensive proposal. This includes to-scale renderings and floor plans of the design, specific product selection and a project cost estimate breakdown. Once the project is tailored to your satisfaction, we enter into a contract for execution of the project.
Contract Signing
Signing the contract and placing your deposit confirms your spot in our job lineup and kicks off the next steps towards project install. We go over all the details one more time and explain how any changes made after the contract signing effect your project. While design changes are always expensive, they are generally less so when handled early in and with clear communication.
Project Install
We will provide an updated timeline of the installation and schedule meetings to keep you informed of progress and review completed work.
